Hey everyone, I guess this is a strange situation and I'd appreciate advice.
Recently I was informed by a medical school that one of my LORs wasn't signed. I quickly requested the writer to sign it and re-upload it to my Interfolio, which they did; I called Interfolio to verify that the letter was signed and could be sent; then, I called AMCAS to ask about the procedure for re-uploading it, and they told me that I could just make another delivery under the same name and it would be downloadable by the medical schools that had the original letter assigned to them. I saw that ONE of my schools downloaded the new letter, because it had a new "received" date. However, the other schools don't have such a date, even though they all use AMCAS letters. I've waited a few weeks now to see if anyone else would download it.
Do you think I should try reaching out to those schools and telling them that one of my letters is now signed? Prior to discovering this, I have been interviewed at one school and put on hold by 3. (The school that interviewed me made no mention of the letter. I have a bunch of letters, but this was one of my "main" letters, so at some schools, it's one of only 3.) I kind of wonder if the holds have anything to do with the letter, but I have no idea. It seems like kind of a trivial thing to call a school about, but I could also see why it would make a difference. What should I do?
