Has anyone had the "offer made" status applied to their infosource account for Boston University? If so, does this mean you've been accepted and is it reliable? Thanks.

From my experience it is reliable! Congrats! You've been accepted!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Which schools use Infosource? Is there a list of schools that participate?
I've applied to 8 and they all say N/A all the time. 😕

BU, UPITT, UCSF (that's all I know from my personal experience) use inforsource.
Yes, DMX, congrats will come in order. You have been accepted to BU. My big fat letter came one week after I saw "Offer Made" posted on Infosource.
   BU is a good school. You will join a big crown of alumni all over the nation after you graduate.

Tufts, UNLV, and AZ participate in infosource as well....hope that helps!

DMX and others,
Luckily I have some experience in this matter. Maybe my situation was unique and for your sake I hope it was but I interviewed at BU on 1/27 and on 1/31 I checked my status via Infosource and it changed from Invited for Interview to Offer Made. Of course I was happy but still unsure until I received the letter. I PMed about 4 people to double check that this meant acceptance and all said it was positive. Then about a week ago, probably out of impatience, I called BU to ask if my application was complete and what did Offer Made mean. The lady on the phone put me on hold briefly while she checked my file but when she came back she said that mine was a mistake and the application was still being reviewed. She apologized and wished me good luck. After I hung up I rechecked my status on Infosource and it changed from Offer Made to Received/Application Complete. Still unsure I called my interviewer, Dr. Shaw, for an explanation. I wasn't clear what the reason was but she said that offer made was a rewording of invited for interview. Then she wished me good luck. I'm not sure what has happened but I'm still waiting.

Correction: I meant I was still unsure until I receive a letter not received the letter.

Hey PashaJ,

Sorry to hear about your experience with Infosource, that must have been quite a disconcerting event. I know I would have been very unhappy if that happened to me. Fortunately though, I just received my letter today confirming the "offer made" status.
Hopefully things work out for you too Pasha.

Few things DMX,
When did you interview? You received an acceptance letter today? I thought there was no mail today because it's Prez day...maybe I should check my mailbox but I doubt it with the huge storm.
Thanks for the encouraging words, hopefully they will work out.

Hey PashaJ,

I interviewed in late January and I did receive my letter today because I'm from Canada where we don't have a president 🙂
