If increased temperature (bad for sperm count) decreases inhibit, which means FSH increases, why is sperm count lowered? Doesn't FSH promote spermatogenesis?

It's because sertoli cells are temperature sensitive. Sertoli promotes spermatogenesis.

High temp = low sperm count. Sertoli stops secreting inhibin in an attempt to increase sperm count via FSH stimulation.
