is it spontaneous no you need somes ort of a catalyst to start off the reaction. And by the way -delta G means spontaneous

Exactly! That's what I though except destroyer question 51 says it IS spontaneous and so it has a delta G< 0. So how would you explain that?

Ok now i see what you are saying getting teh right answer to that question is easy we know S will be positive an dthat H will also be positive. This reaction will only be spontaneous at high temperatures, namelessly the hv we put in it could be that Dr.Romano meant that and just thought it was obvious, but in general H S positive is only spontaneous at high temperatures! hope that helps.
