Hey guys! I have a question about inputting grades/coursework in secondaries. I'm was a Biochemistry major in college and did not end up taking Gen Bio II. Instead, I have Cellular Phys, Genetics, and a bunch of other higher level bio courses. Do I just pick one of those and input it as my prereq? Also, if I did better in Physical Chemistry (falls under chemistry in my college), can I use that as a replacement for one of my Gen Chem courses?

Thanks!

If they have associated labs I would only pick those to use as your Pre-Reqs. The school will see the Gen Bio so the smart thing to do is emphasize the upper level coursework.

I would only replace prereqs with upper-level courses if they are missing--either you took an alternative class or had AP credit. For example, I replaced my general bio courses with upper-level microbiology classes because I had AP Biology credit from high school. If you took the prereqs, you should input them as such. Physical chemistry =/= general chemistry. Don't worry, your good performance in physical chemistry won't go unnoticed, however, and I'm sure your sGPA is better for it.
