Insane Upward Trend

Hello everyone. I have a concern about my app.
I had a really bad freshman and sophomore year. Here is what I mean
Freshman
Chem I D
Bio I C
Bio II C-

Sophmore
Chem I B
Bio II retake C
Chem II C+

My highschool Gpa was above a 4.0 but I was nowhere near ready for college and only doing premed to please a relative. However Junior year I really kicked myself, changed my career plans and had a life reeval and started making straight a's

Orgo A
Orgo II A-
Physics A-
Physics II A
BioChem I B+
Immunology A+

My DAT scores are also looking pretty nice.
As you can see my Science GPA is still underpar. so some computers might cut me out. I think my upward Trend is something to be proud of but it has only been one year so i didn't apply this cycle. If I keep it up through senior year, might I have a shot?

What is your gpa now? If your gpa is below 3.0 when you apply, after doing so well you will still have a hard time. Whats your dat aa?

Yes an upward trend like that is good. Lots of people on here do bad their first year and improve a lot the next few years. Take more bio classes.

Hi there!!! I was exactly... well not exactly in your shoes, but was in similar situtation.. My freshman and junior years were kinda bad too. So yeah, I waited until my senior year to apply which is this year's cycle. I believe that your upward trend really is something!!! At least your changining and you're showing that you are capable of doing what you need to in dental schoool!! Good luck!!!
