I just wanted to get people's input on how different the inservice exam is verus the Board certification exam?

I know the AAFP Board review advises people use the inservice as practice to gauge knowledge but I heard the opposite from people (That the tests are drastically different, etc)

I thought they were pretty much the same. Our PD looked at our scores on the inservice because he wanted 100% pass rate for the board exams. They use it as a guide for future success.

A gauge in knowledge of ITE vs ABFM Board exam leaves much room for subjectivity. The ABFM correlation between the ITE score and pass rate for that score is definitely more objective - example: if you are scoring over 500, keep doing whatever you are doing.
