Hello everyone,
I am in a tough dilemma. I am at the beginning of my 4th year of medical school and have my specialty choice narrowed down to two choices
1) Family Medicine
2) Psychiatry, with an interest in child and adolescent.

Assuming interest in both is equal, which one would you pick and why? I go back and forth all the time and I just wanted to see if outside insight might help me make a decision. Thanks.

i have no helpful advice to offer you, but i just wanted to let you know that im in the same boat as you - i can't decide between psych (child/adol.) and pediatrics ... i have posts in this forum, the peds forum, the psych forum on this very topic. just wanted to let you know that you're not the only one who hasn't a clue what to do ... cuz sometimes i feel that way and i start to get all panicky
