I had a couple smaller things earlier in the cycle: giving out turkeys for Thanksgiving and training new scribes at work. I didn't think they were significant enough to warrant an update, but now I joined a clinical research project (it's just pending IRB approval). I think this is a significant enough update for when it gets started. Should I submit separate update letters now or include these updates in my letters of intent/interest that I plan to submit in a couple weeks?

The way I was thinking of doing it was:
- Update letters to Tufts (deferred decision) and the handful of schools that are still interviewing
- Including these updates in interest letters to the remaining post-interview schools if I get waitlisted
- Intent letter at Einstein, include the updates vs intent letter at USF, don't include because they don't allow updates
