  1. Pre-Dental
I'm new to this site and I thought it would be a good idea to get some outside information especially from those already working in the field of dentistry. I'm a junior in high school and would just like to know what a good major would be to take after high school and also which AP science I should take my senior year(either physics, biology, or chemistry). Also should the college I go to have predentistry? Thanks for any help

It will be best if you go for some sort of biology infused degree. Some people have had a non-science degree and have a minor in biology, chemistry, biomedical sciences or even premed.Just make sure it has all the requirements needed to get into dental school.I had classmates with spanish, engineering majors and minors in biology. It is always good to have a non-science major to fall back on just incase you dont make it to dental school.Just my two cents*.

I agree with the idea of something to fall back on. I was originally interested in biomedical engineering actually, and discovered that I wanted to go into dentistry just recently. Deciding a major could influence which schools I would like to apply to so I feel like I need to decide soon.
