I am interested in neurology, but not quite sure about the "Match" process. If I apply for the 2010 match year, I would need to apply for 2010 prelim and 2011 neurology advance position at the same time? or only apply to the prelim in 2010 and reapply for 2011 advance position the next year? Thank you for your time and help.

Why does your status say "resident" if you are inquiring about the match for 2010? Misrepresentation is a violation of the TOS.

You apply for prelim and advanced programs at the same time, one for 2010, one to start in 2011. You can also apply for 4 year categorical neuro programs to start in 2010, which is nice because you apply to one program and they guarantee an intern year spot and the 2-4 years all at once.
