Hey all, im interested in Widener and was wondering if I should take the GRE again (V 530, Q 780). That was my best score and would LOVE to study again. On their website, it says "combined score of 1200". Mine's def. over that but Insiders and the APA book suggests that it would be good to get 575 on the Verbal. Any thoughts? Will I make the initial cutoff? I'm a minority applicant so maybe they can lower the bar for me? Also, how important is your GRE score after you get an interview offer?

About as useful as your undergrad GPA....so pretty much not important at all. Once you get out of grad school....your grades don't much matter either. B = Ph.D. / Psy.D.
