They're using an anterior supine intramuscular approach.
Some things I found interesting as a total layman:
-How extremely technical these procedures can be.
-How skilled this particular surgeon is. At one point he uses fluoro to confirm the pt's leg length before finishing, but had already estimated it was a little off by "feeling" it (we're talking millimeters).
-How careful and thorough he was.
-How much fun he was having.
-The camaraderie between himself and the host (another orthopod).
Anyway, I found it pretty inspirational as an aspiring orthopod and thought others might as well.
