May be old, but did you take a look at the stats for Universidad del Caribe. A 6 and a 3.1 GPA. So an 18 could get you into that school at the time these stats were taken. Geez 🙄 Now that is LOW

At least Universidad del Caribe made the list. My school(PCSOM) isn't even listed.

I don't know why you guys think these scores are so old. I have the book of Medical Schools from the Princeton Review for Christmas. Most schools reports both the MCAT and GPA. These seem pretty consistent, then again I only looked at the schools I applying to.

These reports, according to the link from the OP, don't include some schools like AZCOM of Midwestern University and TUCOM which was established in 1997 and has an MCAT average of 26.3 for the Class of 2007 and 27 for the Class of 2006.

In addition, the MCAT averages of some of those schools have increased. For example, OSU-COM's average is around 27...the link says...
Oklahoma State University
College of Osteopathic Medicine (Tulsa, OK)
Average MCAT: 8.2
Average GPA: 3.4


There were only 16 DO schools listed and there are now 23, 4 of which are newly established...VCOM, TUCOM-NV, LECOM-FL, and PCOM-Atlanta.

At my school my class avg are:3.53 for GPA and I think 8.3 for MCAT. Dont hold me to the mcat
