Well, I have to say that was encouraging to read about pharmacists in trauma settings.
Working in the ER is something I very much want to do. One of the pharmacy preceptors at my school is the ER pharmacy "attending," and she basically runs anything and everything dealing with drugs. By the time the patient is in the trauma bay... she is pushing this or that, answering questions from the ER medicine residents, etc... (Just wish there were more than two ER pharmacy residencies)
