everybody says that the real dat is very easy. I don't understand why nobody has got a 30 for any section (QR, RC, PAT, Bio, G'Chem, O'Chem). Doesn't this mean the real test has some very hard questions ?!!

They are just saving the 30s for you! There is a private thread that everyone is registered for except you where everyone decides to answer at least one question wrong so that the 30 well be left up to you. I was very valent in that thread when I decided to actually get multiple questions wrong. It was a hard decision but I had to be brave and just let those easy questions go by! How boring it would be if we all got 30s! It is such a rush to see if you can just slip through the application process, with barely high enough scores to get accepted. All those individuals out there scoring 24+ on their DAT just have no sense of adventure! Don't worry however......I'm sure those 30s will still be waiting for you come the end of November. 😀
P.S. Hope everything goes well with your relative's surgery!

Who said I'll get 30s???!!! I've said all along I'll get single digit scores
P.S. Thanks, it's a minor surgery. Requires anesthesia but minor.

By that I'm just wishing you the best! You seem like a decent person and are always willing to answer questions here on SDN! And guess what......You usually get them right, so I would assume that you're going to do just fine! I have to warn you though! In order to get a single digit score you have to be braver than I was and let tons of those easy questions go by! I don't think you are man enough to do that! 😀

You really have no idea how hard it is to get in the single digits... i think if you guess randomly you still won't be in the single digit. Good luck on scoring a 9 though =)

Ok, I'll try to be the 1st "<5"
If you look at Barron's you'll find that it's impossible to get a 30 in some sections based on the standard score to raw score conversion chart. According to them, its not possible in bio & g. chem. I'm not sure whether this is true for the actual test. Also as your score rises, some scores are not possible. Bio for example, there are 40 questions, a score of 23, 25, 27, 28, & 30 are not possible these scores are skipped because each question right has a exponential impact. The scoring chart looks like a bell shaped curve. With the average score for 20 points right is a 17.
