Hello people, my first post here.
I was wondering if any of you guys are using interfolio.com instead of directly submitting your letters of recommendation to AADSAS. Are there any dental schools that refuse to accept letters submitted through interfolio? AADSAS has a waiver option to prevent students from accessing the letters in the future. Does interfolio have a similar option, or are the letters accessible to the student?
Since I feel awkward putting my evaluators through the trouble of submitting letters of recommendation every time I want to apply to professional/grad school, I was thinking of asking them to make the letters as general as possible so that they can be used later on for other programs I may be interested in, just in case I am unable to get into dental school. Do you think it is going to hurt my changes if my evaluators make no reference to dentistry in the letters they write for me?
And finally, do you guys know if interfolio is popular with other grad/professional schools or programs (especially grad schools since they don't have central application processing services like AADSAS, PharmCAS, etc.)?
I sincerely thank you for any input you may have.
