interfolio or amcas?

I tried doing a search but couldn't find my answers, so sorry if it's been answered:

I'm thinking about using interfolio for my LORs because I want to apply to both DO and MD schools (depending on the fate of the mcat...ugh). When can profs start uploading their recs on interfolio, and when can amcas start accepting LORs?

Alternatively, if profs want to upload directly to amcas, do they have to wait until June 1st rolls around, or can they do it anytime?
