If I use interfolio for my LOR, is it true that the professors who upload are required to create a free account? If so, that seems like a little bit of a hassle for them.

I think Interfolio requires you to create an account in order to upload the letter. This is the email that Interfolio sent to my prof. This is very annoying.
Dear Dr. xxx:
I am pursuing an opportunity that requires that I provide a letter of recommendation written about me by someone who knows me and my work. I am writing to request your assistance in that regard.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
xxxxx

ABOUT INTERFOLIO
Interfolio is an online document management service that allows fileholders to request, manage and send letters of recommendation from writers. The contents of confidential letters of recommendation will never be revealed to the fileholder.
I know I'm being annoying here but has anyone requested a letter be sent to interfolio recently where the prof didn't need to create an account?
This really is a pain in the butt. I think I'll just use AADSAS. Does anyone know if the new application will be live at midnight tonight or do we have to wait until morning?
if we are using interfolio, do we still provide AADSAS with our recommender's email?
What do we provide AADSAS for that section of the app?
