Hi. I recently signed up for interfolio and I am beginning to request for LORs. Interfolio is a bit dumb because the only way my referees can send in a LOR is either if they sign up for interfolio (which is dumb because what person wants to sign up if they just want to submit a letter for someone) or they can mail it (not e-mail, like tangible mail, which is dumb because it takes long and costs the referee time and a bit of money). Question: can I just get my referee to send me the LOR and then I upload it myself? I know this defeats the purpose of confidentiality but will Dental schools know?

usually, it's common courtesy for the student to provide a prepaid envelope for the letter writer.

for your second questions, i'm not sure if schools will know but will your recommender be comfortable giving the letter directly to you so you can upload it?
