Interfolio situation

So I added one of my LOE to the pending deliveries last week and now that I have all of my LOEs I wanted to attach them all together to send out (cheaper this way). So I deleted the pending delivery and it deleted the entire LOE altogether! Has this happened to anyone before?? I would just contact interfolio but they are closed and I need this done ASAP. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Not like anyone on SDN can do anything about it. You're just going to have to wait until Monday.

I wasn't looking for somebody to "do" something about it, but rather find out if any one else had a similar experience. It's kind of distressing, but I guess i'll just have to wait till monday to put my mind at ease. Thanks.

Yeah definitely call them and find out. How do you like interfolio besides this problem? I think if problem's solved, it should be mailed out within a day. Just try to call earlier in the AM... good luck and let us know!

I never had a problem like this. I have cancelled pending deliveries a couple times in the past, but it never deleted (and it should never delete) the LOR itself. You can, however, delete a LOR if you wanted though, but it must never have been included into a mailed delivery and you have to manually go through a couple pages and clicks to do so.

Your best bet is to call them on Monday morning and get everything situated. The website says they keep all documents that are sent to them... so they can probably and hopefully fix it for you 🙂 Otherwise, I think Interfolio is absolutely wonderful <3 Good luck!

Thanks for the replies! I feel a lot more at ease after hearing they keep all documents sent to them. Kittysquared, I like interfolio so far aside form this mishap. I'll let you know what I think of it after I process everything tho lol.

Dont worry. They do keep your LORs in their system. They will recover them for you. I even deleted a request for one of my LORs but somehow they pulled it out for me when I asked for it.

I actually had some problems with sending my letters to AADSAS. I had to call them a few times and told them that they have no idea how much this mean to me etc etc --> AADSAS received my letters after 2 weeks. 🙁

I submitted mine to AADSAS via interfolio and was told on my interfolio profile that my LORS were "submitted electronically" on 7/28/11. The LOR is still not showing up as complete on my AADSAS and am wondering if I need to call AADSAS directly? I really don't feel like getting into this with them because I feel like it may be a really big hassle. Thoughts? Thanks!

You should def. call interfolio and straight it out with them. Yell at them if you will.

I was in the same situation. I called aadsas and they said they dont accept anything "electronically" from interfolio.

Then I called interfolio and they said that aadsas does accept LORs electronically from us. I was like WTF? I was in the middle of nowhere.

I told interfolio that "I dont know what you guys do and I dont care...$$$...$$... you have no idea how much this whole dental thing means to me bla bla bla". I have a heavy accent so I dont know how much they understood lol.

After that conversation, the guy from interfolio told me he would personally send my LORs to aadsas. 2 days later, my letters were up on aadsas.

The whole process took about more than a week.

Yeah, go ahead and esubmit your application. aadsas will mail your app without your LORs. The thing is: when schools receive your app without LORs, they will not send your app to their Admission Committee for review.

you should call aadsas and interfolio and have them send your LORs asap. Once aadsas receive the letters, they will mail your letters out (usually Friday).
