I was told by my PIC that after you've been accepted to pharmacy school that you can apply for an intern license. Does anyone know if this is true? She said that you can intern the summer before and get hours. Thanks ahead for any info!

I just read on UGA's website that you can in Georgia as long as you are enrolled in a pharmacy program, but as of right now I will be going to Nova. So, I'm not sure how it will work...working in Georgia, going to school in Florida?

Depends on what state you are in, here in Oregon we can't get our intern license until after the 1st year. Best bet is to call your school and ask, they will know and be able to tell you the process for obtaining the license

I'm pretty sure that you can't get your interns license until you are actively in class, i.e. the first day of P1 in Massachusetts
