I tried to search for this.

But my program allows interns to do an elective at different institution.

How does one go about setting this up? How do I find preceptors or residency programs that take visiting interns?

I would like to go back to California for the Month of December and do an IM rotation.

Thanks

Contact the PDs (in a month or so, not now, they're kind of busy) and ask. I will say that the likelihood of most programs taking a rotating intern are pretty low. But it doesn't hurt to ask. I would aim low (UC Riverside, the lesser community programs like Kern, UCSF Fresno, Scripps Mercy, etc...you're not getting a rotation at Stanford or UCSD).
