Do you guys Know any information about this program?
Do you know when they will start interviews?
hiii momani, m interested in la salle programme, can u answer my few queries......Interviews will start in this month(March).
thanks dear for ur prompt reply.....r u studying in la salle university.....r u satisfy with the programme, hw many students apply everyyear and r the admissions really competitive.....m from india and if i get interview call, tat would be enough to get a mexican visa or not....1) number of seats in IDP... 30 seats
2)living expenses in mexico...around a 1000 $ a month,if you want to rent a house by your self.
3)quality of the programme as compared to US dental school....Never been to US program,I can't tell.
4)patients inflow...Enough amount of patients.
5) do they have roling admissions and when is the deadline to apply....You can contact the school regarding this issue.
6)hw is the faculty, r they fluent in English or students have communication problems wid them...Faculty is very nice, good people,no problems to deal with at all. They do speak English, but you still have to learn Spanish,at least to talk to your patients.
7) crime rate in mexico and personal safety....Leon is a safe city to live in,never heard about any troubles with any of us.
8)chances of admission wid part 1 score of 86....Good,though it's not the main issue.
9) wat do they ask in their theory and practical exam....Typical general Dentistry questions.the practical was class II and crown preparation for me.
10)after graduating r u directly eligible for licencing exam in California or there r some loopholes....First generation of the IDP already practicing in California now.

it is not a US degree, you can take licensure examination of California. If you are living in or want to live in the future in California go for it imo.I got my interview appointment in La Salla. I am so worry, It is a risk because it is not US degree , I think US degree is completely different situation. please help me with your opinions .

hi everyone, im currently in LaSalle dental school here in Leon, Mexico, currently working on part II, if u guys need info about the school let me know and if u have anything helpful for part 2, id be super thankful! thanksss
Well, all the classes are in English...But patients will only speak Spanish, it would be good know some Spanish, but if you don't know there's no problem since there are 16 students who did the Spanish classes before starts school here...It is mandatory if you don't have proficiency in Spanish...The applicantions already started and the first interview group will be in march...as for the license in California , it seems La Salle is working on get accreditation in whole U.S. not only California...but for while only CA maybe you get luck and next year already starts for the whole U.S.
I love CA and i am not going anywhere else in U.S. so for me is all good...
GDCH, it'll be ok if you just sent notarized copies. I spoke with someone from there today and i asked that very question so no worries!
