Hello everyone. I am an Internationally trained oral surgeon, done with my NBDE exams in 2017 and applied for 2 cycles, but did not get a call. I did not apply for next 2 years. I think NBDE is valid for 5 years and so mine will be expired by 2022 May. Looking for your expert suggestions as I am unable make a decision whether to apply for coming cycle as my NBDE score may get invalid. I am also looking for other programs that suits my profile. your advices and guidance are very much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I don’t think nbde scores expire anymore as it’s pass and fail… did you read it at there website that it’s valid for 5 years or so?

You meant schools frown upon scores 5 years older.. possibly. I know few friends who got admission after 7 years of trying so I honestly would work on getting better and solid experience in US and reapplying rather then worrying about nbde scores validity. Good luck!
