I was wondering about one thing... Can DO work as a MD foreing countrys? I mean.. If I finish with DO in the usa, I can work as a Doctor in other country? or only here in the usa?

DOs have full rights to practice medicine in several countries other than the US. There is a list of countries where DOs can practice including several in South America. I don't have the list but I know some people in this forum would know how to get it.

However, some countries do not recognize DOs as full physicians so there are problems in that sense. It depends on the country.

For me the dream life is 6 months doing aid work and 6 months at home. We'll see if I can turn it into reality....
