Many of the schools on your list matriculated less than 3 internationals (UNM 2, UCD 0, Rutgers 1). Others are mission-based schools where you do not appear to fit the mission (Loma Linda, Howard). If you purchase the MSAR, you will be able to focus on the schools that may actually consider you.

In general, private schools are probably more likely to accept internationals than state-funded schools.
I agree with gyngyn. The MSAR was a big help in the application process. Even better if you can figure out which schools actually took people who were not permanent residents of the US AND not Canadian citizens/residents. From my recollection, most non-US matriculants were Canadians...

It also doesn't distinguish between Canadians and other non-US residents.
