Has anyone looked into participating in international graduate programs (i.e. Master's) before applying to an M.D. programs? what would be the pros and cons?

Has anyone looked into participating in international graduate programs (i.e. Master's) before applying to an M.D. programs? what would be the pros and cons?

If it is an international graduate program affliated with a US accredited graduate school, you should be fine. Just make sure that your degree is not coming from the off-shore graduate program because if it does, you then have a degree that may not be recognized in this country. The last thing you want is a Master's degree which no one will recognize most importantly Adcom's of medical schools.
