Just out of curiosity, does anyone know how neurosurgical training and attending life work in countries outside the US? If a US trained neurosurgeon wants to work in other countries, would he have to repeat the training like FMG's have to do in the US? The demand for neurosurgeons internationally seems to be much higher than in the US. For example, Australia has only 119 neurosurgical consultants... pretty crazy for a country of 20 million.
