so i was researching the career salaries of optometry around the world and found out that places like the middle east (specifically dubai and saudi arabia) pay optometristis such a low salary. about 7400 SAR which is 2000 dollars here in america. anyone know why that is the case? i mean, they are in demand in these specific countries. especially with their high education and all...you wouldnt expect that to be the case. could it be that this salary is a reasonable salary to live off of in those areas???
