Actually...its harder than it appears - at least in my state. CA requires extensive documentation of all your collegiate level work - not just transcripts, but what was covered in those classes. Being a licensed pharmacist, in and of itself, does not qualify.
I have a good friend who went to school in South Africa then emigrated to Canada & ultimately to the US. Her ordeal with obtaining sufficient documentation took two years & that was easy since her education was all done in an English speaking school. I have heard from others, that it is very difficult when from another country which does not use English.
We have a First Data Bank office nearby who employs many foreign pharmacists to assist with translation of info & they say the process it tedious & cumbersome. These pharmacists work as techs here in CA & I can tell.....the education some of them have is far different from ours.
If you don't have to do this for visa/family/religious reasons, I'd advise you not to.
