I'm considering doing an away elective in international medicine. Does anyone have any experience with this? Would should I even start looking into this? I know there a places, etc that students can rotate through, but I don't have any info on them. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Also does anyone have any suggestions on where to go?

come to prague! send me a pm or email at [email protected] and i can try to help.

i think that the amsa website has some info, so check out this link:

here is some info for south africa:

what i have found is the best way to go about it: figure out what country/city you want to go to. identify the medical schools in that area, and then contact them directly. the internet is a great tool for this, you can find everything via goggle searches. most countries and schools are happy to have you!

good luck
