International shadowing hours

Last summer I shadowed a dentist in Brazil for 2 months totaling 140 hours. I have 54 shadowing hours here in the states. Should I add my international hours under dental shadowing or more under the extra-curriculars?

I know for Univesity of Michigan, which requires 100 hours of shadowing, the admission director told me that if I were to shadow a dentist in China, I need to make sure that the majority of the shadowing takes place in the U.S. ( something like 80 hours in US, 20 in China is acceptable).
