International students and FAFSA

Is there any point for an international student to fill out FAFSA? As an international student, I'm not eligible for federal loans. But I vaguely remember I still filled it out for undergrad, and my undergrad used it to determine private aid and work-study. I have an SSN and filed taxes for 2021.

Should I email individual schools about it?

Any information in this regard will be appreciated! Thanks in advance!
