I heard that UCLA does not gurantee loan for international students so they have to provide all the funding..

is that true for all dental school or just ucla?

This is true for most schools, regardless of program. It's a risk for lenders to give loans to international students because those students can return to their home countries, default on hundreds of thousands of dollars in loans, and yet be unaffected.

Foreign Applicants
Applicants from other countries must be eligible for a student visa, meet the regular requirements for admission to the UCLA School of Dentistry and complete ALL pre-dental pre-requisites at an accredited U.S. college or university. It should be noted that financial aid is limited to U.S. citizens and permanent residents so foreign applicants should not apply unless they have adequate funding for their professional educational and living expenses.
