Hey everyone,

I just wanted to let everyone know about an organization known as International Service Learning who provides opportunities for students to travel internationally and provide medical care to underserved populations in Central and South America, and Africa.

Such activities that a pre-med student could take part in are...

Taking blood pressure
Diabetes screening
Pediatric examinations
Urinary analysis
Pharmacy experience
Injections and vaccines
Parasitological examinations and much more.

There are also programs for Pre-Dental, Pre-Pharm (included in the Pre-Med Program), Pre-Vet, Pre-Physical Therapy, Pre-Nursing, and Public Health.

You will always have a shower and bottled water to drink, and a clean place to say (such as a family's home or a hotel).

If you are interested, contact me at by clicking here. Also, please visit the ISL website at www.islonline.org.

I will be happy to provide you with any information you need. This is a great way to get some volunteer work during your time off this winter.
