SEE(surgical eye expeditions) International is another group....and of course ORBIS, although I think this is more difficult to get in to. There are also many optho faculty at institutions around the country who do international work, but you'll have to make some contacts for this. Curious what do you have in mind and what level of training are you?? I am finishing fourth year med school, have been accepted into optho and plan to continue international work throughout my career.
