Technology Internet from Pocket PC - how many bytes does it use

Does anyone know how much websurfing you could do on a pocket PC phone with a 10Mb monthly download limit. You can turn pictures off in Internet Explorer which would increase the number of pages you use, but how many bytes are used up to say load the hotmail page & 1 email (without attachments)
