How much time do interns spend on documentation during rotations? And how many patients do you see a day as an intern?

It depends on your experience and what year you are. Before your last internship is over, you should see near or 100% of your CI's caseload (entry level), to include all required documentation and staff interactions/ consults with RNs/PAs/MDs/CMs, etc. in a timely manner. Your DCE team should let you know what your minimum expected case load is per CPI.

It depends the level on internship you are at, and the setting. In a SNF you can see 6-10 patients a day (may more maybe less depending on the facility) whereas in an outpatient setting you could see 20+. As the above posted said you want to be at 100% (or close to) of your CI's case load by the end of your senior internship to show you are able to maintain a full caseload as an entry level graduate.
