Internship at NIH

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I am contemplating doing that internship in four years. The FDA has an internship for your fourth year of pharmacy school and the hours count as part of the 1500 hour requirement. They can place you with various institutions, the NHI being one of them. The only caveat is that the job is non paying and they don't offer a stipend for living costs and you can imagine how costly the DC area is. The website is http://www.fda.gov/cder/Offices/DDI/pharmstudent.htm.

Thanks. Yeah, I found some internships through another website for pharmacy students that can take place as early as the summer after your first year. This is what I want to aim for. I'm interested in their infectious disease department.
