On that note, does anyone know if they do internships outside of the match? I am not sure how many references I am going to be able to get in order to apply for the match.

They do their application through the match. Even if they had any outside the match, its unlikely you wouldn't still need references.

What type of info are you looking for exactly? It has a reputation for being one of the most demanding programs, and their intern survey results have consistently been going downhill (they don't have a *great* response rate, but it is similar to other programs response #'s).

Why don't you think you'll get enough references?
