Hi dental community!

If I start my internship after I submit the application for the cycle, would there be a chance for me to update that information so the school will be able to know that I am continuously adding up my experience?

Or do they ever ask at the interview for current internship status?

I can't speak to what is asked in interviews, as I haven't been through that yet, but I do know there is only 1 update per cycle, and its strictly for grades. Make sure your EC/personal information is the way you want it when you click submit, because there's no going back and editing after the fact.

Some schools will ask for updates or accept them if you get a later interview or are put on a waitlist.

I asked the schools I applied to if I could update information regarding volunteer work, shadowing hours, and work experience. The ones I applied to were fine with it. The virtual ADEA fair going on now is a great place to ask the individual schools. That's where I asked last year.
