I was wondering if anybody knew what internships(preferably in the midwest) allowed for at least 2 months of away time during the first couple months in order to do elective rotations. For a specialty like derm, its important to rotate at programs during your intern year, and I wanted to know what intern programs allow you to take this time off in order to get more exposure to derm and give you a better chance at getting an interview.

You need an advisor at your school. You clearly do not understand how matching into an advanced specialty like Derm works. If your first Derm rotation is as an intern, it's way too late.
