internship start dates

Does anyone know what the earliest date is that we might have to start? I know there are orientations and things before the official start date.

seeing as july 1 falls on a saturday next year, good chance you'll start well before then (ie. probably like june 26). it is highly program dependent. i had to take acls and atls. so it was early for me. and i didn't get paid for those. but i did get paid for regular orientation which started a little before 7/1.

Well, I'm trying to find out if I could plan on going to a wedding overseas on June 17. Anyone heard of programs starting that early?

Its anecdotal, but yet, some programs make you start June 15th
