Hi,
first I would like apologize for my English, I´m working on it.
I´m vet student in Czech Republic and I would like to go at internship in US (maybe Critical care and emergency, Oncology, Neurology -I don´t know yet) after my graduate. I like university of Minnesota.
I want know what should I expect, what it's like to be an intern at veterinary medical centre.
Thank you!

you will need to pass foreign licensing exams, and you should plan to contact programs well in advanced of when you would apply, because many programs dont accept foreign veterinarians (because of the visa situation). North Carolina State University DOES accept foreign applicants and has an excellent internship program, so that might be one to add to your list. at any VMTH or specialty referral center, you should expect long grueling hours with a lot of built in learning. Many programs will give you contacts for current interns so that you can ask them what its like to be an intern there.
