There is an opening for an interventional spine fellowship, officially starting in January 2008 but can start a few months earlier if available.

No, he has a fellow that is staying on after the fellowship (for personal reasons) but the fellowship itself is one year. This position will run from January 2008-January 2009, but he also would let someone start now and essentially moonlight for a few months at the end of 2008. This is being done for continuity purposes.

is his fellowship still ACGME accredited? and more importantly, will it stay accredited?

It is no longer ACGME accredited. This seems to be happening to many of the PM&R pain programs.
