I feel that Columbia is way out of my league. Has anyone ever known of an IMG getting into Columbia Path residency?
How are the SUNY Brookyln and RobertWood Johnson Pathology residency programs?

I don't know anything about your specific institutions of interest, but Columbia would not interview you if you were out of their league. The fact that they offered you an interview means that they are interested!

The quality of applications for pathology residency continues to go up, for both AMG and IMG applicants. I personally think that if a program disregards an excellent IMG applicant, they are doing themselves a disservice. That being said, I agree with beary. If Columbia offers you an interview, they are interested. I wouldn't count yourself out by any means. And if you impress during your interview, why shouldn't they rank you high? Again, if they rank you low just because you're an IMG, they are doing themselves a disservice.
