Is there a thread about how to plan for specific interviews for those of us running out quickly on cash? Maybe with costs, 1-5 ratings for hotels/inns, how to get to/from the hotel and the interview, and if they offer student hosts? Does one already exist?

If not, what do we think about this:

School name: I: (Interview date), H: (Hotel name, cost, rating), T: (shuttle/cab/rental, cost), SH: (student hosts available? yes/no)

With the rating scale being:
1- Worst. Loud, smelly, uncomfortable. I should have slept in the airport.
3- Fine. Did not negatively or positively affect my experience.
5- Excellent. Made me excited about school.

Thoughts?

If the school doesn't have a specific student host program, you can usually find someone to stay with for a night so that you don't have to go through hotels.

Take a look at the Interview Feedback Tab at the very top of the page. They are very helpful in finding hotels, transportation options, and reviews, especially in finding cheap places to stay.
