I'm semi new here and I did just receive my first interview coming up in a couple of weeks. So I wanted to know if anyone had any advice about interviewing for vet school (sorry if this question has been asked before but I couldn't find it on the forums)?

Then also try using the search function - do an advanced search and look for results only in the pre-veterinary forums. That should get you some good information. Post in here if you have any specific questions not answered in either of these places.

Of course, a lot of the folks don't seem to read those anyway. Hah.

Worth a shot - also would provide a mindless link to use when people ask something very 'duh'.

thank you very much. I did use the search engine but it only gave me human doctor interview forums. Anyway thanks 🙂

As twelvetigers said, use the "advanced search" option and choose this forum. It makes a HUGE difference.

Then, in the 'Search in forums' box, scroll through and pick 'Pre-Veterinary' and that should get you what you want. Start with 'interview' for search terms and go from there.

Thanks for posting the link to the advanced search. SDN definitely didn't make this feature easy to find.

Also for interview prep, there's a section on the main SDN website that has a compilation of interview questions and such that people have encountered in the past for each school. Also a bit tricky to find, but here's a link: http://schools.studentdoctor.net/schools/?view=medical and just change the dropdown to Veterinary then go to the page of the schools you're interested in and click 'view results' under the survey bit.
