Hey guys,

So far I have five interview invitations at Albert Einstein, Albany, University of Vermont, LECOM Seton Hill, and NYIT....

My question is whether or not I should even go to the LECOM Seton Hill interview considering the fact that it is going to end up costing over 700 dollars to attend it and it's my last choice. But I don't want to turn down any interview invitations before I get an acceptance so I am really undecided of what to do.

Any advice?

When do you attend each interview in relation to each other? It might be an easier decision knowing that LECOM is your last interview as its possible you will have an acceptance before then. So that you can cancel it without any worries. Personally I would never turn down an interview, unless I knew I would never attend even if accepted. Consider the risk of not getting accepted anywhere and having to go through primary application fees, secondary application fees, etc all over again. I would say its worth the cost if you have it already budgeted. Its a tough place though, but I would say attend the interview still.

LECOM Is my first interview lol that's why I'm so undecided, the rest are next month

I wouldn't start turning down interviews until you have an acceptance in hand as you can't know with absolute certainty that you will be accepted at the other schools.

If LECOM is your last choice, then it sounds like a good place to practice your interview skills, don't you think? Sure it is ~$700 but I see it as money well spent.

Go to the interview, work out the kinks, and get rid of the jitters. Good luck!

Beggars can't be choosy until they have acceptances in hand.

Congratulations to you on these interviews. Agree with fellow SDN colleagues. Would go to the interview. I know you'd rather not spend the $700 but it will be good practice. Until you have an acceptance in hand, I wouldn't cancel an interview.
